And because your family doesn’t come as standard, neither do our designs.
Design & Drawing
Designing and drawing your proposed garden room is a very exciting stage of your project. The first step is for us to visit you and fully understand your creative ideas, expectations and how you propose to use your additional space.
We will also complete a survey, taking measurements and photographs to enable us to produce a detailed design proposal for your consideration.
Our creative team of designers will work closely with you developing the design to match your aspirations, producing scale drawings so that you can see your room come to life. At this stage, we can also advise you on planning, building and other regulations that may affect the project, including environmental aspects, such as Arboriculture, Ecological Surveys and Dark Sky Policies.
Once you are happy with your design we can produce a full and detailed quotation so that there are no nasty surprises as the project progresses.
Once you have decided to proceed with the build we will make the necessary applications on your behalf, be it planning, listed building consent and building regulations.
Project Management & Build
Many of our competitors will seek to suggest that the client engages a builder direct for the base/build element, but our experience is that most people do not wish to become project managers or indeed are concerned about having the required experience to deal with Ground Workers, Electricians, Engineers and Building Control Officers.
At Charles Christianson we take responsibility from start to finish, from the first spade in the ground to the last lick of paint, to bring the whole project together seamlessly.
Guarantee & Aftercare
After completion of the project, we issue a 10 Year Insurance Backed Guarantee, alongside our aftercare and maintenance programme.
We will ensure that all statutory certificates are issued following completion and our team will return for a 6-month service and inspection, making any final adjustments that might be required to ensure the long and trouble-free life of your new building.
